BAYLINER ELEMENT XR7, the saltwater Pontoon boat has arived!
For all the advantages that pontoon boats offer, their one downfall is an inability to hold up in the harsh saltwater environment. Spacious and stable, pontoon boats are basically a floating deck for you to entertain your family and friends on. However, place that floating aluminum deck in the saltwater and you’re just asking for trouble. Bayliner has addressed this issue by creating a Pontoon style boat that sits atop a fully fiberglass, M-Hull design. Its called the Element XR7 and the benefits are tremendous! The M-Hull works similar to a trimaran hull which maintains the stability that pontoon boats are known for. This new spin on the traditional pontoon boat also offers the benefit of better handling at top end, while kicking up a great wake for water sports. Plus, the access hatches to the M-Hull give you an enormous amount of storage below deck that is invaluable. Unlike most toons which feature a fold out privacy curtain, the Element XR7 actually has a fully enclosed head in the helm. In order to accommodate this, Bayliner raised the helm 5” off the deck giving the captain a better view while driving. With a stock 150 HP 4-Stroke Mercury Outboard and available upgrades to a 250 HP motor, the XR7 will get you to the party in no time. With an overall length of 25’ 6” and a 8’ 6” beam, there’s plenty of room for the forward facing bow couches, aft couches, port side companion seat and entertainment center, while still maintaining plenty of deck space for dancing when the sun goes down. With all this and more available for under $40,000, it’s no wonder Bayliner is considered one of the most innovative boat manufactures on the market.
